When one utters the word "ambition" in the Kuria region, the name Zirconia will most likely pop up as well. For very few indeed can match the level of ambition of Professor Zirconia. When she desires to achieve something, her dedication to it is astounding.

 

Born in the Hoenn region's Sootopolis City, Zirconia was once a regular trainer, just like yourself and then went to become a Frontier Brain in the same region. However that title became short-lived as she moved to the Kuria region when she had heard of an old mystery. 

 

The power of Crystallization. She studies the properties of the energy that flows through the Crystal Fragments and the rest of Kuria. She believes that this energy can be used for a lot more than just Pokémon Battles. The energy that causes Crystallization, that causes the immense power that come from Crystal Pokémon.

 

However, her dedication to her research doesn't mean she has gotten any weaker. If anything, it only made her and her Pokémon stronger. She and her well known partner in battle are considered to be one of the most powerful teams in all of Kuria.
