Mega Xatu forsees a battle and it's foresight makes it extremely

powerful. It is said that Mega Xatu takes the form of Xatu from ancient

Xatu tribes that lived in times long forgotten, and thus unlocks the lost

knowledge of those times.

 

Xatu's incredible defenses, along with it's powerful Special Attack and 

decent Speed makes it a powerful tank in any team.  While it's new 

Mystic typing makes it more powerful, the lack of the ability to fly also

makes it more vulnerable.
